If you would like to learn “NEW” Strategies to aid children in becoming proficient readers and writers then this is the workshop for you. Using scientifically based reading research as the foundation, you will experience demonstrations related to the following premises. Participants will:

• Learn how to motivate children to read & tips on choosing books for children in preschool
• Explore reading, writing and oral language activities that focus on literacy in the preschool setting
• Become knowledgeable in various storytelling techniques for teachers and parents
